Walk-In Customer Service Sales Representative

Customer Service focused role handling walk-in customers and pulling their orders on the sales floor. Solution-oriented and responsible for actively driving a positive customer experience on the sales floor.

• The first point of contact with customer inquiries.
• Respond to customer requests and provide follow-up to account and order details.
• Alleviate customer traffic during peak times to ensure a smooth checkout transaction.
• Check inventory for product availability in the system and the refrigeration coolers.
• Pull the order, verify accuracy for shipping, delivery, or pick-up information, paying careful attention to modifications, substitutions, and discrepancies.
• Communicate with warehouse operations, the buying department, and the dispatch for order fulfillment.
• Data input and verification of order information, discounts, and store credit information.
• Respond to product inquiries, offer recommendations, and conduct product searches.
• Offer assistance and provide support to warehouse operations and maintenance of the workspace, as well as adherence to workplace safety at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, purchasing, and dispatch for the execution of holidays and promotional events.

• Experience in Customer Service, Retail, or Sales is preferred.
• Experience with perishable products or produce is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
