America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste Management sectors.
We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.
Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined expertise in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for major wireless carriers worldwide. They identified the need for low-power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, generate alerts, and predict actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with operating IoT networks of sensors and connected devices.
Our specialization includes designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting these networks. Whether you need an off-the-shelf or custom solution, we create tailored solutions and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platform, including your own.
Plan and manage port capacity for elements in the FTTP or HSI data network. Review traffic engineering recommendations, network deployment plans, and DSLAM/OLT growth requests to assess impact on switch/router port capacity. Prepare and issue Capacity Creation Requests (CCRs) for new DSLAM/switch/router components required in the FTTP or HSI network. Coordinate circuit requests to connect network elements and provide bandwidth relief.
Analyze quarterly equipment forecasts from client groups to determine router requirements for budgeting. Update network models for DSLAMs, switches, and routers to reflect current hardware and usage. Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes. Manage the lifecycle of new equipment from CCR creation through material delivery, including updates to job issuance reports.
