Certified Surgical Technologist - Vascular Surgery

• 1+ years of experience as a surgery tech
• Surgical Tech Certification in the state of Maryland
• Experience with C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment preferred
• Experience monitoring and overseeing equipment
• Ability to sterilize equipment
• Interventional Radiology experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• BLS

• Review procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed
• Explain procedure to patients
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Set up procedure room with necessary equipment
• Draw up Intravenous medication
• Enter patient data into C-Arm
• Assist with processing X-ray images
• Sterilize equipment
• Attend meetings with physicians
• Enter CPT and ICD-9 codes for billing and ensure accuracy
• Maintain and order supplies
