Front Desk/Scheduler
United Surgical Partners International, Inc

Surg Center of Silver Spring is looking for a Part‑time Front Desk/Scheduler.

At Surg Center of Silver Spring, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high‑quality, service‑oriented environment for surgical procedures. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialties of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, and General Surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones and greet patients and visitors.
  • Schedule surgeries and coordinate schedules between the surgery center and physician offices.
  • Gather detailed information for the patient’s chart—type of procedure, supplies, special equipment required, insurance information—and enter all data into the computer system.
  • Confer with OR Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and/or Administrator to determine the status of scheduled surgeries, altering schedules as needed to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Cross‑trained to fill in and effectively perform all other job descriptions.

Salary Range: $22.70 – $30.77 per hour.

Required Skills
  • High School education and/or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience (or training/equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
