This part-time on-site role, based in Silver Spring, MD, is for a Community Relations Manager who will serve as the bridge between Platinum Seniors Care and the community it serves. The manager will be responsible for building relationships with community stakeholders, organizing events, conducting outreach activities, and promoting the company’s services. Their efforts will focus on strengthening community connections and enhancing the visibility and reputation of Platinum Seniors Care as a leader in senior care.
Responsibilities- Build relationships with community stakeholders and establish partnerships.
- Organize and oversee outreach events and activities.
- Promote the company’s services and enhance visibility within the community.
- Represent Platinum Seniors Care in a professional manner to seniors and families.
- Relationship-building and networking skills to engage with community stakeholders and establish partnerships.
- Event planning and coordination skills to organize and oversee outreach events.
- Effective communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with both seniors and their families.
- Marketing and promotion knowledge, especially pertaining to outreach programs in the healthcare or senior care sector.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in basic office software and familiarity with social media platforms for communication and promotion efforts.
- Prior experience in community relations, senior services, or non-profit work is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
