Charge Master Analyst, Day Shift, Emergency Department

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Charge Master Analyst who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

• Be responsible for interacting with the Charge Description Master (CDM) Coordinator on day-to-day maintenance and oversight of chargeable activities
• Responsible for Emergency Department daily charge reconciliation
• Collaborate with Cath/EP Lab materials coordinator to reconcile daily supply usage with daily orders
• Oversee multiple aspects of the revenue capture processes, ensuring that all billable revenue is processed timely and accurately, and complete documentation is present on patient records
• Work closely with department contacts in identifying process and system bottlenecks, formulating recommendations for improvement and implementing optimal solutions

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Knowledge of CPT/HCPC codes, modifiers, HSCRC relative value units, & UB-04 revenue codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
