• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining network solutions
• Strong experience providing Network Engineering expertise and Tier 3+ support for a global enterprise computing environment
• Must hold a minimum of CISCO Associate Level Certification in good standing (such as CCDA, CCNA, etc.).
• Experience researching and evaluating enterprise networking solutions and providing recommendations to senior leadership
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional global teams and acting as a networking subject‑matter expert to support, troubleshoot, and implement enterprise IT solutions
• Solid understanding of networking principles and security best practices
• Working knowledge of technologies traversing an enterprise network (e.g. virtualization, Windows and Linux systems, SAN, applications, etc.) to provide secure transport for same
• Understanding of the system hardening processes, tools, guidelines and benchmarks
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

• Prior experience working on US Federal Government Contracts
• Demonstrated experience with delivering technology solutions in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven enterprise environment
• Self‑starter, highly motivated individual who adapts to a dynamic work environment
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800‑53r4 and 800‑53r5-based security baselining practices
• Working knowledge of Google Voice administration, including configuration of desktop phones where required

The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of Networking solutions for our US Government customer. Job duties include:

• Development Environment – Implement a dedicated IT development environment for testing patches and updates, system changes, and evaluation software
• Patch management - automate the IT Security patches process required to keep the system secure
• Implement modifications to the existing system boundary, which may include changes to VLANs and physical connectivity to other 8850‑supported systems
• Implement remote desktop technology for the workstations to allow the Help desk to troubleshoot and fix desktop problems remotely
• Develop network architecture enhancements for the network environment
• Provide innovative and cutting‑edge solutions to network issues/concern
• Provide business case analysis for varying solutions and include a cost benefits analysis for each solution
• Knowledge and direct experience in a cloud‑based environment
