Systems Engineer
America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste Management sectors.
We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.
Our founders are experienced telecommunications engineers with over 200 years of combined expertise in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for major wireless carriers worldwide. They identified the need for low-power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, generate alerts, and predict necessary actions. We integrate these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce recurring costs associated with operating IoT networks of sensors and connected devices.
We specialize in designing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting these networks. Whether you require an off-the-shelf or custom solution, we will create a tailored solution and deploy data on the most suitable cloud platform, including your own.
This role involves working with the vRepair Development Team and supporting Dev Ops transformation initiatives. The selected candidate will handle key technical support and network call center programs, including the Tech Support program and GNM Center migrations, automation, and root cause correlation activities. These tasks require an onshore resource.
Responsibilities include development activities for the COFEE transformation program - vRepair, developing server-side application components, SDLC automation, and overall Dev Ops transformation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in C/C++ languages, Oracle SQL, and stored procedures.
- Expertise in designing and architecting web-based applications.
- Experience with open-source development tools (Git, Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge and experience with Dev Ops practices.
- Proven experience managing development activities for large, complex programs involving multiple application teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to reach solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
