Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Silver Spring, MD, for an Information Technology Help Desk position. The IT Help Desk professional will be responsible for providing technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network security, and handling network administration tasks. This role involves direct customer service to ensure that technical problems are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing user accounts, and providing technical assistance to end-users.
- Strong skills in Network Administration and Network Security
- Experience and knowledge in Information Technology and Troubleshooting
- Excellent Customer Service skills to assist and resolve end-user issues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
