We are seeking a passionate and motivated Defensive Immigration Attorney to join our thriving legal team in either our Fairfax, Virginia or Silver Spring, Maryland office.

• Manage your own caseload while meeting case progression benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and fellow attorneys to ensure seamless case handling.
• Participate in firm committees under the guidance of firm partners, contributing to the firm's operations and success.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for immigration law cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on immigration matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and general removal defense.
• Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
• Provide effective guidance and support to clients throughout the immigration process.
• Lead and manage multiple case files with strong organizational skills.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance legal strategies and case outcomes.
• Stay updated on evolving immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance.

• Active bar membership.
• 0‑3 years of experience in immigration law.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research using legal platforms.

• Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages.
• Additional experience in specific immigration law specialties or areas of practice.

Job Type: Full‑time
Salary:
Starting from $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
