Operating Room Nurse role at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. The Surg Center of Silver Spring is hiring a full‑time OR nurse.

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to the care of patients experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including older adults and the geriatric population, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. Scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.

Min: $45,000 to Max: $60,000

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Minimum two years previous OR experience
• Current Maryland license as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees
• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing
