Description:
Position Summary The Nurse Supervisor - House (Administrative Coordinator) is responsible for providing administrative oversight and operational leadership across the hospital on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and holidays. This role serves as the key clinical and administrative leader during nights and other times when department directors, managers, and senior administration are not onsite. The House Supervisor coordinates hospital operations, facilitates communication among departments, supports staff and patient needs, and ensures organizational standards are maintained throughout the facility.
- Provide administrative leadership and operational coordination for all hospital departments during assigned shifts.
- Ensure hospital operations continue effectively and efficiently while meeting the needs of patients and their families.
- Maintain awareness of hospital-wide activities and respond to operational, clinical, and staffing concerns.
- Communicate significant events and issues to on-call administrative leadership as appropriate and seek guidance when needed.
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
- Serve as a resource for clinical teams, physicians, patients, and families.
- Assist with patient flow, bed management, staffing coordination, and emergency response situations as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of five (5) years of hospital nursing experience with exposure to clinical services, material management, medical staff interactions, and patient admissions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and data management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Preferred Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
Schedule:
Nights 7 pm - 7 am Friday, Saturday, Monday

Pay Range: $43.36 - $62.67 per hour. Compensation is determined based on experience, education, skills, and market factors. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) are compensated within the equivalent base salary range of the posted hourly rates. Pay may vary based on geographic location and other job-related factors.
