Assistant Community Manager

We're growing fast and looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations at one of our residential communities. In this vital role, you’ll help manage resident relations, support leasing efforts, and ensure the community runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Resident Relations:
    Collect and post rent payments, assist residents with maintenance requests and concerns, and ensure follow-up is handled promptly and professionally.
  • Leasing Support:
    Assist with apartment leasing, lease renewals, and move-in/move-out coordination. Help maintain occupancy goals through effective outreach and resident retention strategies.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Manage resident files, waiting lists, and ensure all documentation (income, rent calculations, recertifications, inspections) is completed accurately and on time.
  • Community Walks:
    Conduct regular property inspections to ensure curb appeal, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Vendor & Contractor Coordination:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party service providers to ensure timely and quality work on-site.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    Ensure that resident files are compliant with company policies and any applicable housing regulations. Assist with audits, reporting, and data collection.
What You Bring to the Table
  • High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A positive attitude, team-player mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong understanding of property management operations and resident services
