Job SummaryWe are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Servers to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for providing attentive and efficient service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities And Duties- Guest Service:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, making them feel welcome and valued.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively address any concerns.
- Provide knowledgeable and informative recommendations on menu items and beverages.
- Accurately take and deliver orders, ensuring all requests are fulfilled correctly.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively and courteously.
- Operational Excellence:
- Follow all restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
- Accurately process payments and balance checks.
- Perform all side work duties efficiently and effectively, including table setting, bussing tables, and restocking supplies.
- Assist with running food and beverages to tables in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
- Assist with host duties as needed, such as greeting guests and managing waitlists.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, both verbally and in writing. - Strong Interpersonal Skills:
Warm and friendly demeanor with the ability to build rapport with guests. - Attention to Detail:
Accuracy in order taking, food delivery, and cash handling. - Multitasking Abilities:
Ability to efficiently manage multiple tables, take orders, and provide attentive service simultaneously. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry trays, and navigate a busy restaurant environment. - Professionalism:
Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. - Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment. - Availability:
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
