Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser Floater, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills while establishing retailer relationships. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may also work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details

• Your starting pay will be between $17.95 and $18.95 per hour.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
• Weekly hours: 5–10 hours per week.
• Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device.
• Support holiday demand by working additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s, Mother’s, Father’s, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
• Assist in department resets, installations, and fixture relocations, often with advance notice and occasional evenings or weekends.
• Collaborate with other merchandisers to support team needs within their territories.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. You must be able to kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and step ladders as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Physical ability to lift and carry products as described.
• Ability to operate a handheld digital device for data entry and communication.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and reliable internet.
• Reliable transportation to and between assigned stores on the scheduled dates.
