At Fearless, we are seeking a Technical Lead as part of our Senior Consultant, Engineering & Technical Services career path to provide hands‑on technical leadership for the development and evolution of modern, user‑centered digital services that help State agencies access career, training, and workforce resources. You will guide technical direction and engineering practices, working closely with product, design, data, and engineering teams to translate program needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions built on React, FastAPI, and AWS.

This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to balance hands‑on engineering with technical leadership, collaboration, and delivery – leading architectural and implementation decisions, mentoring engineers, establishing development and testing standards, and ensuring quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This is a fully remote role.

This Senior Consultant collaborates with cross functional teams to align the technical vision, implementation, and quality of software systems across development, reliability, testing, and operations.

This role will possess the skills to be able to bridge business objectives with technical execution in software development, infrastructure, security, and testing at an advanced application level of proficiency. The Sr. Consultant role will work on projects that allow them to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions while mentoring engineers, fostering collaboration, and aligning stakeholders with product and project goals.

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership and guide architecture, design, and implementation decisions across the application.
• Lead the development and evolution of scalable frontend applications and backend services using modern JavaScript/Type Script and Python technologies.
