Now Hiring Part-Time Transit Bus Driver with Articulating experience in Rockville, MD

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced CDL Driver to join our team in Rockville, MD. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $18.00 – maximum $22.00

Benefits include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transports buses
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
• Move buses/articulating buses from one location to another

Qualifications:

• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
• Need to have active CDL
• Experience with articulating buses
• Be subject to a drug screen & physical
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions — 100% of the job is performed outside, work solo and in remote locations
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to reach files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise
