Inventory Control Specialist; GFS

• Execute scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts, pick-path verifications, and bin audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Research, reconcile, and process exception orders, receipts, and returns in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to develop actionable reports and dashboards for process improvements
• Mentor team members on WMS best practices, inventory controls, and safety procedures
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead or support continuous improvement initiatives

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a transaction-intensive warehouse or distribution center environment
• Proficient in operating material‑handling equipment and common office tools (Excel, Word, databases)
• Strong analytical skills for sorting numerical data and recognizing trends
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred

• Relevant certifications such as CPIM or Six Sigma
• Experience in a leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Familiarity with Lean initiatives and Kaizen events
• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and environments
