Join Johnsonlink Orthodontics as an Orthodontic Assistant. This role supports patient care and assists the orthodontist across three locations.

$22.00/hr - $30.00/hr

The Orthodontic Assistant is a key member of our clinical team, providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner. Responsibilities include a wide range of orthodontic procedures, assisting the doctor during appointments, sterilization procedures, and occasional minor lab work. Must be willing to travel to all three locations:
Silverdale, Poulsbo, and Port Orchard.

• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating them.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers.
• Enter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system.
• Take x‑rays, photos, impressions, and intraoral scans.
• Provide patient instruction/education.
• Provide reports to parents/guardians.
• Assist the Orthodontist with consultations and all stages of orthodontic procedures.
• Clean/disinfect operatories and sterilize instruments and devices.
• Set up trays and prepare brackets for bonding.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Doctor, Clinical Lead, and Practice Manager.

• Dental experience is required; orthodontic experience is preferred.
• Washington State Registered Dental Assistant.
• Good understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with orthodontic/dental management software systems is preferred, but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members, and the community.
• Keen attention to detail and time management skills.
