Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Urology in Silverdale, WA Are you a dedicated urologist seeking a dynamic locum opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Physician specializing in Urology to cover clinic and call duties in Silverdale, WA.
This role offers a stimulating environment with diverse responsibilities, including outpatient care, surgical procedures, and on-call coverage, all while working with a supportive team committed to excellence.
Required Skills:
Board eligibility or certification in Urology BLS and DEA certifications Proven experience in general urology procedures such as cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsies, TURP, bladder scans, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections Ability to manage a high-volume clinic seeing 20-25 patients daily Competence in handling both clinic-based cases and on-call responsibilities Strong patient and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy environment Proficiency with Epic EMR system Willingness to rounding on hospitalized patients and collaborate with support staff Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with robotic-assisted procedures (robot onsite at hospital) Prior involvement in multi-disciplinary teams Additional procedural skills related to urology Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution Board-certified or eligible in Urology A minimum of 3 months of locum experience preferred Familiarity with hospital settings and surgical environments Other Requirements:
Availability for a minimum of 3 months starting June 1, 2026 Participation in varied shift schedules including clinic hours (8a-4p), night call (5p-8a), and 24-hour call responsibilities Willingness to take call every 1 to 6 days, including nights and holidays Credentialing completion within three weeks prior to start date Preference for local travel; arrangements for lodging and travel will be coordinated Must fulfill all facility-specific credentialing and compliance requirements This opportunity provides competitive compensation, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $0.00 (actual rate to be confirmed).
