Description:
We are seeking a locum General Cardiologist for outpatient clinic coverage.
The position requires the provider to work Monday to Friday for 2-3 weeks per month.
Primary responsibilities include seeing new consults, follow-ups, and transfer of care patients.
The provider will ensure encounters are closed within 24 hours.
They will be responsible for resulting ECGs ordered for patient care.
Occasionally, the provider may be asked to result Zio monitors ordered by other providers in case of backlog.
They may also act as the supervising physician for nursing visits and stress tests, ensuring nursing documentation is signed off.
There is no expectation for echo or stress test interpretations.
Credentialing may take up to 90 days.
This position does not provide services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less.
