Job OverviewAs a Project Engineer Sr. for the FBM Weapons System Infrastructure & Capabilities (WSIC) team, you'll work on a broad range of projects to find innovative solutions and lead team members in solving complex problems as we position the program for sustained success for decades to come. The Milcons and Strategic Projects team is looking for motivated individuals to help activate upcoming Milcon projects supporting the future of the FBM D5 missile development, production, sustainment, and next generation missile programs.
Responsibilities- Support the Milcons and Strategic Projects team in planning and execution of Mil Con work across multiple program sites, scope, and Program Execution
- Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
- Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
- Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
- Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders
- The position will require domestic travel
- Project management AND/OR construction management experience in commercial, industrial, government, military or DoD facilities.
- Experience with Project Management, project engineering, AND/OR systems engineering.
- Experience developing and executing project plans
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Experience in the execution of engineering projects from start to finish
- Familiarity with the MILCON process.
- Proven and demonstrated leadership, organizational coordination, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with FBM and D5 Missile processing operations
- Experience with leading multi-disciplined Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
- Experience in the formulation of proposals and bases of estimate (BOE)
- Experienced in CAMship and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision capable of clear communication through multiple levels of senior and executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar experience preferred
- Understand of the A&E design process and providing oversite of engineering design packages
- Experience preparing/reviewing the following facility engineering products:
Statements of Work, Facility Design Criteria, Specification documents and construction cost estimates - Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers
- Excellent computer utilization skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
