Job Description

Orbis is seeking candidates for work on a professional services contract in support of Commander Naval Air Forces (CNAF) Aircraft Carrier Readiness Support. Orbis provides Professional Engineering Assistance, which includes Engineering Technical Expertise, Engineering Graphic Solutions, Configuration Data Management, Environmental Engineering, and Hazardous Waste/Material Handling to ensure the protection of personnel and the environment. Orbis also delivers Production Control Functions, Material and Logistical Coordination, Quality Assurance, and Computer-Related Capabilities.

These efforts aid USS Nimitz (CVN 68) and USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) class aircraft carriers in matters related to readiness, maintenance, modernization advance planning, work package development and integration, and work package execution.

• Unskilled labor responsibilities in support of warehouse and logistics operations. The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain base access authorization. Depending on the specific work location, an active or eligible security clearance may also be required.

• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials and supplies.
• Loading, unloading, and relocating materials using manual or mechanical equipment.
• Storing materials in designated locations and maintaining orderly storage areas.
• Issuing materials and supplies based on requisitions or work orders.
• Performing inventory counts and assisting with inventory control procedures.
• Preparing materials for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment
• Assisting with documentation and basic data entry related to inventory and supply transactions
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• A secret security clearance
