Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Engineering Technician III – Safety to support our team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing an effective safety program and ensuring all applicable safety standards are met. Your work will be essential in ensuring that contract requirements are consistently met and that high standards of safety performance are maintained.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Lead and mentor supervisors,foreman, and other safety representatives to helpfacilitatetheir safety-related duties, including the development of site-specific safety training programs, hazard-specific safety programs, and Activity Hazards Analysis.

* Qualifications:

** Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Control/Safety or Facility Maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
