RN Labor and Delivery –

• Conduct Maternal‑Fetal Assessment and provide nursing support to laboring patients.
• Utilize pharmacological and non‑pharmacological pain management during labor.
• Stabilize and transition newborns at delivery and circulates for Cesarean Sections.
• Care for post‑surgical patients and assist anesthesiologist with epidural insertion.
• Assess and care for high‑risk maternity, postpartum and newborn patients.
• Identify and intervene for mothers with postpartum complications and educate breast‑feeding mothers.
• Identify full‑term infants at risk for complications and provide appropriate care.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Previous recent Labor and Delivery Experience preferred.
• 1–2 years Med/Surg experience acceptable; expect completion of Labor and Delivery education program after hire.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification; quarterly AHA RQI competency certification required post‑hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) completion within 6 months of hire.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (NCC or ANAAC certification preferred).

Pay range: $42.43 – $71.67 per hour.

Part‑time – 0.9 FTE (Day Shift 0500‑1700)
