Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts on North Tower 8 Telemetry unit

• Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5

• Weekend requirements based on unit demands and needs

• Holiday requirements preferred - to be discussed during phone interview

• Float to other units as needed

• No call or standby requirements

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care required

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), WA or Compact nursing license

• Care for medical-surgical overflow patients including CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative care, patients awaiting placement, and post-op general surgery patients

• Titrate limited drips including Heparin and Cardizem (up to 10mg/hr)

• Read telemetry strips and monitor patients

• Work with CPAP and BiPAP equipment (no high flow)

• Use EPIC charting system

• Receive 2-3 shift orientation

• No specific scrub color requirements

• BSN not required
