Customer Service Associate

Base Pay Range

$16.66/hr - $18.00/hr

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Greets customers, offers assistance with products and services, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members.

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and trade‑ups; offers complementary items.
• Registers purchases, processes cash, voids, returns, refunds, exchanges, and other necessary transactions.
• Maintains clean, merchandised counters and shelves; takes inventory and records; checks in and prices merchandise.
• Implements asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
• Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Separates food items per policy and assists with stock rotation using FIFO method.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provides customer service in the photo area (digital passport, poster print, creative machine) and suggests promotional photo products.
• Assumes web pick‑up responsibilities (monitors orders, picks items, delivers to arriving customers).
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance to keep store condition and appearance orderly.
• Complies with all company policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
