What does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

Proactively engage, connect, and listen to customers by asking questions to determine their needs.

Direct customers to merchandise; inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions, all while providing excellent customer service.

Be available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Use a Point-of-Sale system to process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit/debit transactions, including cash handling, counting money, and returning accurate change.

The Qualifiers:

Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
