So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

• Greets customers. Completes sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Performs all types of cash register transactions (cash, charge, check, layaway, etc.) in a procedurally correct manner. Accepts money, makes change, bags and wraps merchandise. Thanks customers for their patronage.
• Interacts with customers and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner which includes adhering to NEX dress codes/uniform standards and assisting/supporting sales team members to the maximum extent possible. Communicates with customers knowledgeably and legibly.
• Maintains store appearance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Qualifiers:

• Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Candidates must be eligible for and obtain a Secret Clearance within 6 months of appointment. Failure to obtain will result in termination. Acceptable results of a Tier 3 eAPP security background screening is required and is a condition of employment.
