Typical Day & Responsibilities- Proactively engage, connect, and listen to customers by asking questions to determine their needs.
- Direct customers to merchandise; inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions while providing premier customer service.
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Use a Point‑of‑Sales system to process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling), including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customers.
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
