Tessera is seeking a Mechanic, Body/Fender. The Mechanic, Body/Fender repairs damaged bodies and body parts of automotive vehicles, such as automobiles, buses, and light trucks according to repair manuals.

Using hand tools and power tools, this position removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fender. The Mechanic positions block against dented surfaces and uses hammers to reshape panels, filling depressions with solder or plastic materials to restore vehicle appearance and function.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Responsible for maintaining a knowledge of applicable Federal, State, Corporate and Site rules and regulations, Labor Agreements and Site-wide operating policies and procedures.

* Qualifications:

** Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive Maintenance.

Ability to read, understand, and follow technical manuals.

* Physical Requirements:

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  Frequently required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
