The incumbent is responsible for general grounds maintenance and upkeep of all areas, including the exterior of buildings and roadways.

• Perform tasks requiring physical abilities with little specialized skill or prior experience.
• Load/unload trucks and other conveyances; move supplies and materials to proper locations using wheelbarrows or hand trucks; stack materials for storage or binning; collect refuse and salvageable materials.
• Dig, fill, and tamp earth excavations; level ground using pick, shovel, tamper, and rake; shovel concrete and snow; clean culverts and ditches; cut trees and brush; operate power lawnmowers; gutter and roof cleaning; carpet/vinyl flooring removal.
• May be assigned as flagger or fire watch, if trained and certified.
• Move and arrange heavy pieces of material, furniture, equipment, and appliances; spread sand and deicer on icy roads and walkways; pick up leaves and trash.
• Assist with spill response team; may be required to obtain and maintain asbestos certification for removal tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Proper use of tools and equipment common in landscaping and laborer work.
• Completion of all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.
• Timely and cost-effective performance of duties.
• Timely completion and accuracy of all departmental work.
• Professional, courteous demeanor with a variety of people in diverse situations.
• Adherence to established company safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices.
• Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures.

• Must obtain and maintain required explosives certifications when assigned to ordnance operations.
• Must meet and maintain company physical and security requirements, including respirator qualification, and clearance eligibility when required. Must possess good communication skills for a service team environment.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Wages – $25.39 per hour.
