Tessera is seeking a licensed Fire Suppression Lead Technician to oversee inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler and suppression systems at [Base/Contract name].

You will ensure code compliance, diagnose and resolve system issues, and maintain accurate records. In addition, you’ll provide training and guidance to technicians while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Apply all NFPA and UFC code requirements during installations, repairs, and maintenance. Limited knowledge on how to operate Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) to perform required maintenance. Ensure all requirements are met as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures.  Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.

* Qualifications:

** 3-5 years' experience in fire protection technology or a related field is preferred.

An equivalent combination of experience and education can be considered. Knowledge of local fire codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.  Working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and critical components required.

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
