Tessera is seeking a licensed Lead Fire Suppression Technician to oversee inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinklers and suppression systems  will ensure code compliance, diagnose and resolve system issues, and maintain accurate records.

In addition, you’ll provide training and guidance to technicians while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Maintains required work, time, material, and equipment maintenance records to update equipment service workbook and daily task sheets consistent with current contract requirements.

Interprets code requirements during installations, repairs and maintenance. Installs, repairs and maintains environmental protection requirements.

* Qualifications:

** 5-8 years' experience in fire protection technology or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education can be considered. Knowledge of local fire codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.  Working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and critical components required.

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
