Tessera is seeking a motivated General Maintenance Worker ll.

The General Maintenance Worker II (GM-2) performs semi-skilled to skilled work in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, plumbing, electrical, structural, grounds, and equipment. May be required to use manual or power tools to complete work assignments. The GM-2 worker is typically skilled or highly skilled performing tasks in one or more of the above areas and can produce high-quality work without assistance, and train other personnel to perform those tasks.

** Typical duties include but are not limited to:
** Responsible for a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry (including siding), plumbing, masonry, grouting ceramic tile floors/walls, and minor electrical work.  Replacing glass in windows and doors.  Replacing/repairing door hardware.  Clearing roof drains and gutters.

* Qualifications:

** Minimum 3 years of closely related experience. Knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work preferred.  Ability to learn a wide variety of building and grounds maintenance. Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
