Tessera seeks a dependable and skilled Carpenter Maintenance professional to support building upkeep and structural repairs. Responsibilities include inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on doors, windows, roofing, flooring, and interior and exterior finishes. The role ensures safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, preserving facility standards and supporting operational readiness.

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair buildings, structures, and associated property.
• Maintain, repair, and alter buildings and structures including foundations, walls, doors, windows, roof framing, flooring, fencing, stairs, fixtures, hardware, painting, and glazing.
• Layout, install, replace, repair, and remove interior and exterior walls, floors, roofs, platforms, towers, steps, handrails, ceilings, and roofs.
• Maintain interior and exterior finishes, trim, and decor to match or exceed existing appearance.
• Assemble and secure furniture.
• Maintain service and repair records and submit documents daily.
• Ensure installations, repairs, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Carpentry/Construction.
• Journeyman Level Certification preferred.
• Ability to operate required equipment safely.
• Effective verbal, listening, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to read and understand building specifications, blueprints, and maps.

• Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
• Perform repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, walking; climbing in and out of a vehicle; up and down stairs.
• Work effectively under pressure for extended periods.

• Valid state driver’s license required; ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
• REAL ‑compliant driver's license or acceptable alternative (U.S. passport, military ) for federal installation access.
• Must obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access; background check and E‑Verify conducted.
