Type: Non-Exempt.
Work Schedule: Full-Time.
Compensation: $47.30/hour.

Responsibilities- Alarms and Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various electronic security systems.
- Setting up and configuring alarm systems (fire, intrusion, access control, and surveillance cameras) in residential, commercial, and government buildings.
- Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions in alarm systems, including hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Conducting routine inspections, testing components, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance, repairs, and service calls.
- Ensuring all installations and repairs adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years in fire alarm/ electrical.
- Certified Alarm Technician (CAT) or Certified Fire Alarm Technician (CFAT) from the Electronic Security Association (ESA) preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
- A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL
-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military , in accordance with the REAL .
