General Maintenance Worker II
Location: Silverdale, Washington (Bangor)
Type: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $31.58-$31.58/hr

- Painting, carpentry (including siding), plumbing, masonry, grouting ceramic tile floors/walls, and minor electrical work; replacing glass in windows and doors; door hardware; clearing roof drains and gutters.
- Patching holes and cracks in walls and ceilings with plaster or compound; touch up painting and caulking.
- Minor repairs on sinks, water coolers, and toilets; caulking plumbing fixtures.
- Minor repairs on concrete floors, steps, stoops, decks, and sidewalks.
- Communicate directly with customer and supervisors, informing customers of unexpected or additional repairs and determining needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
- Diagnose issues and suggest solutions and repairs to customers and supervisors.
- Communicate with scheduler to update repair status and estimate completion dates.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of closely related experience.
- Knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work preferred.
- Ability to learn a wide variety of building and grounds maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, occasionally in adverse weather.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- Must reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours.
- May require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, walking, standing or sitting for several hours; climbing in/out of a vehicle, stairs may also be required.
- Must persevere under pressure for extended periods.
- Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
