Compensation: $45.52 - $45.52/hour

- Assist in development, implementation, and monitoring quality control and safety programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Work on various types of fire alarm systems and related devices by performing component installation, maintenance, repair, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, maintenance level programming and testing.
- Apply practical technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Panel/Systems principles and determine malfunctions.
- Ensure the customer receives a quality product/service that is defect free.
- Work with a variety of equipment including electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog computers, industrial measuring and controlling equipment, integrated alarms, and associated fiber optic material.
- Assist with performing inspections on completed contract units and documentation to ensure final product meets quality specifications.
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems in working on Fire alarm equipment.
- Assist with reviewing maintenance documents, historical files, and inspection records to note trends or recurring discrepancies for initiating corrective action plans.
- Analyze system failures and other unusual system occurrences to isolate the source of the problem and determine whether the failure is caused by software, hardware, or other factors.
- Maintain manual and/or computerized central office records, including detailed records, traffic analysis records, cable records, line records, subscriber service records, and spare parts inventories.
- Run cables, key cables, or house wire to all telephone sets, terminal connectors, lugs, pins, or screws associated with key telephone equipment and/or terminating equipment for non-voice circuits.
- High school Diploma/GED is required.
- 0-3 years in Fire Alarms/closely related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge of industry safety standards.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
- A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL
-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military , in accordance with the REAL .
