Work Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $55.95 hourly

The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for installation, diagnosis, service, and repair of environmental‑control heating and air‑conditioning systems across multiple facilities. Apply technical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards.
Typical Duties- Install, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
- Utilize wire diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and drawings to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Install and program thermostats.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and chassis parts.
- Connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, and fans to control panels and power sources.
- Communicate with customers, informing them of unexpected or additional repairs and determining needs.
- Make difficult diagnoses and suggest solutions/repairs to customers.
- Update repair status and estimate completion dates with scheduler.
- 0‑3 years in HVAC.
- VAC and/or EPA Certification required.
- Civilian or military trade school training or equivalent.
- Washington State EL‑06A electrical license.
- Lift or move up to 70 pounds.
- Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motions for several hours.
- Repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, walking; standing or sitting for several hours.
- Work under pressure for extended periods.
- Valid state driver’s license with ability to obtain and maintain Tessera insurance coverage.
- REAL driver’s license, U.S. passport or military federal installation access.
- Obtain and maintain applicable security clearances; background check and E‑Verify required.
