• Compensation: $50.82/hour.

- Installing or repairing electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
- Reading blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications and diagnosing problems in the electrical system.
- Replacing lamps and ballasts, cleaning fixtures, repairing outlets, switches, connections, sensors, and ground fault interrupters; performing miscellaneous electrical repairs.
- Repairing switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Installing circuit conductors per NEC rules.
- Installing or repairing wiring, electrical and electronic components.
- Inspecting, operating, and testing industrial equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
- Planning and laying out work using diagrams, drawings, manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Keeping records of maintenance, work performed, and cost of work.
- Using portable handheld electronic devices to document work, time‑keep, and order materials.
- Restoring fixtures to proper operating condition and ensuring lighting meets IES standards.
- Call‑back availability may be required based on operational needs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with commercial electrical systems and controls.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the State of Washington and minimum 3 years of direct experience with commercial electrical systems and controls.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motions for several hours.
- May need standing or sitting for extended periods, climbing in/out of a vehicle, and walking up/down stairs.
- Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.
- Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
- REAL‑ driver’s license or acceptable alternative (U.S. passport or military ) for federal installation access.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
- Background check and E‑Verify will be conducted.
