Sports Medicine Physician - Silverton

Overview

This position will be 100% musculoskeletal care for patients of all ages. The physician can expect to walk into a clinic seeing patients of all ages with a pleasant mix of young, active athletes and management of osteoarthritis. This is a thriving practice utilizing platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for arthritis and tendinopathies.

The physician can also expect to have support of sports-trained orthopedic surgeon, adult knee / hip joint replacement surgeons and general orthopedics. This position includes a concussion program for both adults and pediatrics with multi-disciplinary collaboration of neurology, neuropsychology, ophthalmology, rehabilitation (physical therapy, vestibular therapy, occupational / speech therapy) support has been established for the treatment of concussion patients. The position includes opportunity for sideline coverage in local high schools.

Candidates must be MD or DO Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician with completion of a sports medicine fellowship. Abilities to use ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes strongly recommended. Must be comfortable with both adults and pediatric patients.
