$30.42/hr - $45.63/hr

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Water Treatment Plant Supervisor is responsible to oversee the operation of a water treatment facility which includes the operation and maintenance of equipment.

• Monitor and promote system environmental health and worker safety compliance;
• Oversee the operation of a water treatment facility which includes the operation and maintenance of the water treatment facility;
• Ensure plant operations, performance, and reporting requirements conform to operating standards and procedures, and initiate control process adjustments in response to changing conditions
• Maintain all on-site equipment in good and safe working order by performing regular inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs;
• Ensure the cleanliness/safety of the site;
• Provide weekly, and monthly Operational reports
• Participate in weekly (virtual) client meetings
• Develop or aid in the development of standard operating procedures, safety procedures and training,
• Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities for direct reports, including the supervision of up to two additional operators.
• Operation of onsite computers (PLCs) used to monitor tank levels, flow meters, pH probes, and other equipment.
• Plan and lead the installation and maintenance of future water treatment infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot operations and maintenance issues and concerns.
• Respond to alarms while on a rotation with the ability to be on-site within an hour of the alarm.
• Periodic inspections of equipment and water treatment systems to monitor proper performance of operations.
• Identify and recommend improvements to operations to ensure assigned functions are efficient and cost effective.
• Supports risk analysis and risk reviews.
• Other related duties as required.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in water or waste water treatment plant operations, or equivalent, with three years of relevant supervisory work experience
• Is in possession of a current Driver’s License;
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Previous experience operating hand tools, small machinery, and other necessary equipment.
