We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Preschool Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. This role involves implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional growth, and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Implementation: Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes learning through play and exploration. Use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum using our fun and engaging characters, making TLE a place where learning is fun!
- Classroom Management: Create a warm, welcoming, and structured classroom environment. Establish and enforce rules and routines that ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Child Development: Observe and assess each child's development, identifying areas for growth and providing individualized support. Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians. Provide regular updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities. - Classroom
Activities:
Organize and lead engaging activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and outdoor play. Ensure activities are safe, fun, and educational. - Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols. Ensure the classroom is clean and organized.
- High school diploma/GED (required)
- Have an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related degree (preferred)
- Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)
- Have a genuine passion for education and care of children
