Overview

The Sr. Enterprise Applications Analyst will develop, influence, and implement a partner strategy that ensures alignment between business units (BU) and the DBT with a mission to achieve BU-specific and AV enterprise objectives. The role contributes to the AV Digital Transformation by collaborating with Business Partners to determine strategic direction for BU-specific and enterprise-wide solutions. Within their assigned BU, the analyst acts as a conduit of information, becomes a BU subject matter expert, and showcases the potential of digital transformation.

Position

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business units to ensure decisions consider the customer perspective and drive value for AV.
  • Collaborate with partner BUs to reimagine processes using people, process, data, and technology; communicate the value of the relationship with AV Business partners.
  • Serve as the SME for designated partner BUs; attend meetings, document workflows, and outline day-to-day operations; develop deep knowledge of technology and business needs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for BU & DBT stakeholders; help establish a three-year roadmap with BU leadership.
  • Utilize business analysis techniques to define high-level features and service levels for IT offerings; focus on business value, risk assessments, and continuity planning.
  • Foster innovation by staying current with industry and technology trends; conduct gap analyses to optimize processes toward digitalization and automation.
  • Analyze requirements, identify data elements, and prepare detailed specifications for program development; build positive relationships across the organization.
  • Define business requirements for designated BUs; manage data requests, monitor technology planning, and surface demand for capabilities and assets; ensure alignment with roadmaps and priorities.
  • Contribute to design and review sessions; ensure resources are available and promote adoption of solutions.
  • Communicate with leadership to evaluate joint initiatives against roadmaps and priorities; demonstrate system capabilities (e.g., Workday, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and oversee solution delivery; manage changes to high-level requirements and anticipate bottlenecks.
  • Transfer knowledge to leadership and peers; balance BU and enterprise optimization; manage post-implementation enhancements and production issue escalation.
  • Support prioritization of technology projects and alignment with ROI; partner with PMO on cross-department initiatives.
  • Assist in strategic planning, including reporting for boards and executives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12-15 years of BRM/BA experience with multiple SaaS/Cloud systems (e.g., Work Day, Logic Gate, Hyperion EPM/FCCS, Kronos, Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Cloud) with expertise in Project Accounting, Inventory, Supply Chain, Project Costing, and related finance applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales, CRM, Finance and Accounting, Manufacturing, HCM, and analytics principles; experience with financial systems.
  • Experience integrating Work Day, Logic Gate, Hyperion EPM/FCCS, Kronos, Oracle EBS/R12 or Oracle Cloud with third-party SaaS systems for support and issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of interfaces, workflows, and underlying database tables.
  • Excellent communication, writing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a multi-project environment.

  • Strong project management skills, pipeline management, and deadline prioritization.
  • In-depth understanding of day-to-day BU operations and business needs; strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; experience working with cross-functional teams and presenting to leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint).
