Sr. Enterprise Applications Analyst

Overview

The Sr. Enterprise Applications Analyst will develop, influence, and implement a partner strategy that ensures alignment between business units (BU) and DBT, with a mission to more effectively achieve both BU-specific and AV enterprise objectives. The position will contribute to the evolution of AV’s Digital Transformation initiative by actively collaborating with the Business Partners to determine the strategic direction for BU-specific and enterprise-wide solutions.

Within their assigned Business Partner/Business Unit, acts as a conduit of information, becomes a BU subject matter expert, and showcases the ‘art of possible’ for a company on the forefront of digital transformation.

• Partners with business units and ensures every business decision is seen through the lens of the customer
• Collaborates with partner business units to reimagine processes using people, process, data, and technology
• Executes solutions that communicate the value of the relationship between AV Business partners and their teams
• Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for designated partner business units
• Attends designated partner BU meetings and shadows Team Members
• Documents workflows and day-to-day operations; explains a day-in-the-life for various roles within partner BU
• Serves as a trusted advisor to the BU and as a key contact for BU & DBT stakeholders
• Establishes and maintains a three-year business and DBT solution road map with BU leadership
• Utilizes business analysis techniques and business cases to define high-level product features and service levels
• Focuses on business value to develop ideas, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity and capability requirements
• Fosters creativity and innovation by staying informed on industry and technology trends
• Conducts business process gap analysis to optimize towards digitalization and automation
• Analyzes business requirements and collaborates with DBT and BU teams to define data elements and specifications
• Develops deep knowledge of the business partner’s BU and builds strong relationships
• Defines business requirements for designated BUs and writes requirements to obtain data from enterprise data teams
• Manages the technology demand pipeline across assigned BU and assists BU leaders with business cases
• Monitors technology planning and deployment progress; surfaces and shapes demand for technology capabilities and assets
• Contributes to requirements, design reviews, and risk identification; ensures collaboration and resource availability
• Promotes adoption of solutions created by projects and aligns initiatives with roadmaps
• Demonstrates system capabilities (e.g., Workday, Oracle, Hyperion) to solve business problems
• Gathers requirements from users and is accountable for feasibility and delivery; approves changes to high-level requirements
• Anticipates bottlenecks and manages escalation
• Analyzes end-to-end, moderate to high complexity processes
• Collaborates with peers and PMO to balance BU and enterprise optimization
• Transfers knowledge to leadership and peers; ensures common processes across departments where applicable
• Negotiates tradeoffs between business needs and technical constraints to maximize benefit
• Manages post-implementation enhancement requests and monitors production issues for improvement opportunities
• Acts as SME to prioritize technology projects and align with ROI and overall business strategy
• Partners with PMO to manage cross-functional projects focusing on integration, implementation, and adoption
• Assists in developing and executing strategic plans and preparing reports for leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
• 12-15+ years of BRM/BA experience with multiple SaaS and Cloud Systems (e.g., Work Day, Logic Gate, Hyperion EPM/FCCS, Kronos, Oracle EBS R12 and/or Oracle Cloud)
