Location: Simi Valley, CA

Shift: 1st Shift | 4/10 Schedule (Mon–Thu, 5:00am–3:30pm)

Pay Range: $22–$25/hr

Summary:

The Quality Inspector I performs routine visual and mechanical inspections on components, assemblies, and electro‑mechanical products. This role ensures all parts meet established quality standards by following detailed work instructions, using inspection tools, and accurately documenting acceptance/rejection findings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of hands‑on inspection experience.
• Proficient with basic inspection tools (gauges, calipers, micrometers, torque tools).
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply standard QA practices.
• Strong attention to detail; basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Nice to have: familiarity with GD&T, FAI/AS9102, aerospace components, AS9100 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine visual and mechanical inspections using ring gauges, calipers, micrometers, torque tools, and related equipment.
• Inspect soldered connections, wiring, sensors (pressure/force), assemblies, and subassemblies per specifications.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and parts lists.
• Document inspection results and support QA documentation requirements.
• Participate in internal audits, corrective action follow-ups, and adhere to ISO 9001/AS9100 procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the QA team to resolve routine quality issues.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and maintain consistent attendance.
