American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry unit requiring EPIC experience and current ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM, with 36 or 48 hour options
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
• Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor
• Current PALS certification from an approved vendor
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience, with recent experience within the last 3 months
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered

• Delivers coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Collects and analyzes patient data to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Provides patient and family education as part of care delivery
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Local candidates accepted, with no radius rule and local rates matching travel rates
