American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring EPIC experience and a minimum of three years of specialty experience.
Details- Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 or 48 hour weekly options
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor required
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum of three years of recent experience in the ER specialty required
- EPIC experience required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
- Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Vaccinations required as a condition of employment per organizational policy
- Requests for more than 5 days of RTO will not be approved
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
