American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring CA licensure, EPIC experience, and night shift availability.
Details- Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 36 or 48 hours per week
- One holiday off approved with requirement to work the other assigned holiday
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required, 3 years for ER, ICU, Cath Lab, or OR
- Recent experience in specialty within the last 3 months required
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnosis, develop care plans, and implement interventions
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and healing care
- Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Required to float within the Adventist Health system as needed
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
